Carmarthenshire Floating Support
Salary: £18,000 per annum pro rata (£9.89 per hour)
Hours: 35 per week full time/ 17.5 hours per week part time
We are currently recruiting for full and part time staff. We are required to deliver support between the hours of 9am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to amend these hours to meet the needs of the clients and Caer Las.

This service provides housing related support to clients in the rural community who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, private tenants, social housing tenants and home owners, to become independent and sustain their accommodation. The overarching objective is to prevent homelessness, enable people to remain in their own home, regain or develop skills to enable them to achieve independence and improve wellbeing.
Many of our clients face multiple disadvantages and co-existing support needs. Therefore, the quality of the support provided will be of the highest standards so that every person can aspire to their best hopes, preferred futures and progress towards independent living.
You will provide a holistic floating support service in line with the expectations of Caer Las, Supporting People and local authority commissioners. Floating Support Rural Carmarthenshire covers areas including Pendine, Laugharne, St Clears, Whitland, Llanboidy, Newcastle Emlyn, Pencader, Llandysul and Llansteffan – anywhere from Llansteffan in the west to Cenarth in the north.
There is a particular emphasis on developing community links with agencies and services that can be accessed and sustained by our clients in the longer term once support ceases and this will be an ongoing requirement of the role.
As this is a community based floating support service, adherence to lone working policy and procedures is essential.
