Background: Joy had 15 years’ experience working in education as a primary school teacher before working in a social services employability project. She has also worked in her own businesses. She has 5 years’ experience of the homelessness sector working across Wales. Her areas of expertise include homelessness policy and legislation, and public sector commissioning.

Background: Mike began his career with Cymorth Cymru, following a sandwich placement at university, and went on to work in policy, events, business development and service development. He now works for HMP Parc in the Offender Management Unit, with a focus on substance misuse and offender management.  His areas of expertise include Criminal justice, rehabilitation, substance misuse, homelessness, welfare to work.

Background: Alison began her career in Broadcasting at the BBC in London in the late Eighties before becoming a professional marketer.  She has nearly twenty years’ experience working in senior Marketing roles across a number of Public and Private sector organisations.  Alison has previously served on the Board of a Community Arts Organisation in Ceredigion and on the Wales Regional Board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her areas of expertise include strategic marketing, key account management and team leadership.   

Name: Dean Taylor

Background: Dean has over 30 years’ experience in the public sector, working for local authorities and the NHS. He has managed corporate services and led transformation programmes in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Herefordshire and, most recently, in Swansea. He is now a freelance consultant and also undertakes voluntary and community work in the Swansea area. His areas of expertise and interest include: financial strategy, change management, strategic commissioning and organisational development.
